Botulinum Toxin Type A injected into specific areas causes the weakening of excessive muscle contractions responsible for the formation of mimic wrinkles. How long does the effect of the procedure last?

The effect of the procedure lasts on average about 6 months, although individual differences may occur within the range of 4-8 months. Filling and Removing Wrinkles with Hyaluronic Acid is a safe procedure that provides quick results. Hyaluronic acid is used under the eyes to lighten dark circles and remove tear troughs. As the years go by and the body ages, the content of hyaluronic acid decreases. The face starts to look tired and sad, dark circles under the eyes deepen, and the jawline contour fades. The lips narrow and their corners droop. The neck skin becomes loose, and wrinkles appear on the décolleté (especially noticeable in the morning, right after waking up). Over the years, the supportive tissue in areas such as the cheeks, temples, and tear troughs also diminishes, causing the facial tissues to sag downwards. To minimize these deficiencies, special preparations, known as fillers, are used. These are injection products containing cross-linked hyaluronic acid, which, when administered into specific folds and wrinkles, smoothes them out. With hyaluronic acid preparations, we can naturally and completely safely rebuild skin structures, model the cheeks, and reverse gravitational tissue sagging.

Course of the Wrinkle-Filling Procedure with Hyaluronic Acid

Before the procedure, the doctor assesses the skin's condition. This is necessary to select a preparation with the appropriate density and plasticity to achieve the best cosmetic effect. The choice of filler depends on the type of problem and the area of the skin the patient presents with. A different preparation is used to fill forehead wrinkles than the one used for removing wrinkles under the eyes, and another for removing neck wrinkles.

Before the injection, the patient's skin is anesthetized, and during the procedure, slight pricks are felt. The fillers injected into the skin are intended to smooth out and iron wrinkles and folds. To contour the face and give it a younger appearance, the hyaluronic acid preparation is administered into deeper tissues.

The procedure involves collecting a small amount of adipose tissue from the hip area using a special cannula after numbing the area.

The first step in preparing the fat is to remove the anesthetic fluid and red blood cells, which have pro-inflammatory and toxic effects on the fat. Therefore, it is very important to thoroughly cleanse the fat before administration.

Depending on the planned therapy, the preparation can be prepared in two ways, obtaining MICRO FAT (volumetric) and NANO FAT (regeneration). Volumetric facelift is the name of a procedure that allows for correcting the facial contour and all irregularities on the skin surface that occur with age. The goal of facial volumetrics is to eliminate wrinkles, folds, and depressions. Additionally, it can reshape the face and restore its proper proportions.

During volumetric facelift, special preparations - fillers based on cross-linked and non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid - are introduced into the skin using a cannula. Its purpose is to fill in sunken areas of the face, tighten the skin, support its regenerative processes, and counteract gravitational tissue descent. This procedure provides a foundation for better tissue hydration, making the skin look healthier and younger.

No special preparations are needed for the procedure, but medications affecting blood clotting should be discontinued several days before the appointment. The procedure takes about 30 minutes and is performed by a doctor. While not painful, there may be a sensation of stretching.

Results of volumetric facelift are immediately noticeable. Full effects stabilize within several days to a couple of weeks, and smooth skin and corrected facial contour can last approximately 18-24 months (depending on individual client predispositions).

Volumetric facelift

Treatments, which utilize platelet-rich plasma, demonstrate remarkable effectiveness and safety. This is owed to the valuable properties of the substances that comprise it. Therefore, these treatments are also non-invasive, and their effects last long. Because the patient's own blood is used for the treatment, it is often referred to as "vampire facelift."

Platelet-rich plasma is a fundamental component of blood, alongside red and white blood cells. Plasma is obtained by drawing venous blood from the patient just before the procedure. Subsequently, the drawn blood is placed in a special centrifuge that separates and retrieves the plasma. It remains viable for approximately 8 hours, demonstrating stability and sterility. This means it cannot be frozen, and each treatment is based on freshly drawn plasma. Platelet-rich plasma is autologous for each injection, meaning it is derived from the patient undergoing the procedure rather than someone else.

The procedure consists of the following stages:

1. Venous blood is drawn from the patient, similar to blood drawn for standard tests. The amount depends on the type of procedure being performed.

2. The drawn blood is transferred to a special certified tube equipped with separating gel and anticoagulant. The tube is then placed in a centrifuge where it undergoes 5 minutes of spinning, resulting in separation of blood into red blood cells, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and plasma. The procedure utilizes platelet-rich plasma.

3. The harvested platelet-rich plasma is ready for injection. Prior to the procedure, the area to be injected is numbed with a special cream. Plasma injections are administered using the same principles as typical mesotherapy treatments. A fine needle is used to inject the product intradermally. The introduced platelet-rich plasma facilitates skin self-regeneration, collagen production, and stimulation of stem cells.

Effects of platelet-rich plasma treatment

Initial effects of the treatment become visible after about 2 weeks, but plasma begins to act within tissues just 48 hours after the procedure. Improvement in skin quality can be observed: increased density, elasticity, and improved tension. There are no traces of bags under the eyes or dark circles. After about 3 treatments, there is an observable reduction in fine wrinkles. Regarding effects on the scalp, improvement can be observed after two treatments—hair becomes significantly denser and their condition improves. The treatment also smooths scars, such as those from acne.

Possible side effects after the procedure

Because all materials used are obtained from the patient (autologous origin), the risk of intolerance or allergies is excluded. Immediately after the procedure, slight bruising and mild swelling may occur locally.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)

Its one of the most commonly chosen procedures in aesthetic medicine. It allows for increasing lip volume, improving their contour, and lifting the corners of the mouth. The type of procedure and its execution are tailored to the individual needs of the client. In many cases, it also provides an additional benefit of removing wrinkles around the mouth, commonly known as smoker's lines. Lip Augmentation and Contouring Procedure

The lip augmentation and contouring procedure is performed using fillers containing hyaluronic acid. The possibility of performing the procedure, as well as the choice of a specific product, is decided by the doctor conducting the treatment.
